    Autism Center for Growth

    Providing a center-based program for children ages 12 months to 7 years old with a diagnosis of Autism in our Monroeville location. A current Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis is required for enrollment.

    Program Overview

    The Autism Center for Growth provides Applied Behavior Analysis services for children ages 12 months through 7 years (or entry to kindergarten, whichever comes first) with an Autism diagnosis in a clinical setting. The goal of the program is to improve socially significant behaviors, target specific skill deficits, and decrease challenging behaviors.  These services will target the generalization of skills across settings as well as transfer skills to clients, parents, and caregivers through ongoing parent training.

    Who We Serve

    The Autism Center for Growth serves children from 12 months to 7 years old, or until they start kindergarten, whichever occurs first. Eligibility for our services requires that all clients have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    The Center focuses on various developmental challenges, including communication delays, deficits in social skills, difficulties with imitation, aggressive behavior, self-injurious actions, restricted play abilities, and other gaps in adaptive skills.

    What We Offer

    The Autism Center for Growth will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services through evidence-based practices.  Behavior Analytic Services and/or Behavior Consultation – ABA services in addition to Behavioral Health Technician – ABA services will be provided in a clinical setting.  Children will have multiple designated times for structured and non-structured interactions with peers while in the clinic.  The Autism Center for Growth will focus on the transfer of Skills to Parents/Caregivers through individualized trainings.

    Eligibility Requirements
    Allegheny County Residents only

    Ages 12 months through 7 years or entry to kindergarten (whichever comes first)

    A current Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis on the most recent version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

    Written Order Prescribing ABA Individual services in a 1:1 Center-based setting. Services including: Behavior Analytic Services, Behavior Consultation – ABA services, and Behavioral Health Technician – ABA services (BHT-ABA).
